May 9 – The Mother’s Day Unsermon – Dr. Lou Yock

The ideals of motherhood and femininity have changed since Mother’s Day was first observed in the United States in the 19th century. The holiday has also been associated with other historical causes, such as pacifism and temperance.  A spring Sunday dedicated to mothers, today, mean different things for different people.
