September 24 – “Let Freedom Read” Dr. Louis Yock
The American Library Association designates a week in September or October as Banned Book Week, to draw attention to books that are challenged, removed from shelves, or banned. We stand with those who believe as the ALA states, “the safety of our right to speak and think freely is directly in proportion to our right to read”.
